An Incomplete but Helpful Resource Kit for Startup Founders

Starting a business is hard, we know. As women founders who do not come from generational wealth, we are excited to continually share resources on this page as we find them to help others make their visions become a reality.

Check out Founders' Alliance Resource Hub (we’ll update it as we find new resources). The resource is broken into 5 tabs:

Communities

Have a question on how to find users? What about the best analytics platform for your burgeoning company? Join one of these communities and you’ll be surrounded by like-minded individuals who have been where you are and are happy to offer their advice. Additionally, as you become more seasoned yourself, these communities become gifts that keep on giving.

Biz Dev & Equity

How do I incorporate my company? What in the heck is a cap table?! This list has some incredible resources we wish we knew about from the get-go. Ranging from banks meant for startups to easy ways to incorporate, these resources are sure to help you learn something new.

Books

As founders hustling to make our dreams a reality, we don’t have a ton of downtime to read books. This list is kept intentionally short to fit into anyone’s busy schedule. Even better? Many of these books have practical examples that can be adapted to fit your needs, helping you save valuable time in the long term. Talk about a good ROI.

Software

Ever find yourself googling endlessly to find relevant tools to help you through some of your work? Think to yourself “there has to be a tool that lets me create promo videos quickly and easily!”? Check out this tab!

Software Discounts

This is one of our favorite tabs. So many heavy hitters, ranging from AWS and Google to MixPanel and YCombinator, offer incredible incentives for startups to get off the ground. Having enterprise-grade software at your fingertips for a cost affordable to bootstrapping companies is invaluable.

Thank you so much for checking out this post. We hope you find something useful here.
