The Trucker

After graduating from grad school, I moved back to Nashville and hit the dating scene. A highlight from my time on Rhymes with Sminder…

There were a brief and unfortunate couple months during my twenties when I went out with a guy from Rhymes with Sminder who was a semi-truck driver. He was gone 5 days a week, which had to have been part of the reason we dated for no more than two months.  When things ended, his list of complaints included:

  1. I was unwilling to hold his pet snake

  2. my clothes wouldn’t  fit in a tiny house, and

  3. I didn’t laugh enough.

Brian - if you are reading this - you just were not funny.
