Why Voice-First Speed Dating with Blink?

We’ve all been there….

Staring at our phones, swiping repeatedly, and making snap decisions on whether or not the person with the dirty mirror selfie will be a good fit (but really - clean your mirrors!).  I know I have found myself on more than one occasion just swiping left and hitting the “x” so fast the faces just start to blur.

Enter Blink.

Blink is here to strip away those first, inherently-shallow swipes. You get the opportunity to spend ⏳10 minutes⏳ getting to know someone without any preconceived opinions based on photos or profiles. I know what you’re thinking, “voice-first speed date? That sounds awkward”, but fear not!  I had a really stellar professor tell me to “get comfortable being uncomfortable” and that has been some of the best advice I have ever received.

Blink is going to get you out of your swipe-happy comfort zone and into a new realm of possibilities. We all watched Love is Blind, so we know there is power behind having a good old fashion 🗣conversation without knowing what someone looks like. We also know that you might need a glass of 🍷 to get the conversation going.  We support this as well.

I love what LA’s Love Coach, Damona Hoffman says about dating being a learned skill. The more you do it, the better you get at it. So not only is Blink setting you up on blind dates, we are setting you up on speed dates. Speed dating offers the opportunity to meet many eligible people in rapid succession, giving you even more opportunities to meet someone that you will have a real connection with.

Worried about falling for someone and realizing you have zero physical chemistry?😳

Don’t stress! We know love isn’t totally blind.  🤩You’ll get a chance to view your date’s photo (you read that right - photo! ONE photo!) and Blink will only match members who have mutual positive feedback.

So, get that ring light out and take a killer selfie because we’re about to have some voice-first speed dating fun!
