Beware! The following stories are not for the faint of heart.

Dating can be fun and exciting, but it can also be sp0o0oky. In honor of Halloween and all things sp0o0oky, we’ve put together a compilation of first date horror stories. So sit back, relax, and leave the lights on while you enjoy our latest blog from some daring daters.

Mr. Threesome

One day during my first year in grad school, I got a notification on my phone that I had a new message on OK Baby Valentine. I opened it up, excitedly wondering if I matched with the cutie holding a puppy that I swiped right on.

Nope.

It was a message from a guy asking me to be the third with him and his girlfriend. I politely declined and went about my business. He continued to bother me and send super inappropriate messages, until one day I finally blocked him. Unfortunately for me, that same day, I went to a local liquor store to pick up some rum. I started fishing out my ID as I walked over to the cashier, eventually looking up to see no other than Mr. Threesome behind the register.

I put my Admiral Nelson handle back on the shelf and skedaddled. I was not, in fact, OK, Baby Valentine.
